in using the positive reinforcement operant
style of training to achieve the goals you desire for a happy
well trained dog. Sandy has worked and trained with every kind
of dog from a Chihuahua to a Great Dane. Whether you just want to have a puppy you
can live with or a champion dog in competitions, you will find
Sandy can help you and your dog achieve the results you want

Jones
My name is Joy, I have
been around dogs my whole life, and I enjoy the benefits of training
them. When I started training I found that the old techniques
used: command, heel, jerk, and shove, turned my once friendly outgoing
puppy into a turtle. She was too sensitive for that kind of
training. That's when Operant Conditioning Training came into my
life. Together we learned the techniques and she worked happily
with me and came out of her shell with a smile. With Operant
Conditioning Training the method of training helps you work with your
dog, you work better as a team, and you achieve a positive outcome.
Every dog learns differently and by using these techniques together we
will train your dog to work with you and be a great addition to your
family.
Joy has worked with Sandy since her
early teens. She has over 20 years of experience with all breeds and
has successfully trained champion dogs. She has attained Agility Titles
NA and OA, and owns Classy Kennels, specializing in Border Collies.
Her
current Border Collies are: CH. High Flying Spirit
and CH. Classy Touch of Jewels. She has shown her dogs in Conformation
and in 2002 "puppy" Jewel made Champion at only 9 month old!
Jewel had her first
litter with Cowboy in 2003. Jewel
and Spirit are Nationally renowned for being Noteworthy Dams. Patience
and consistency are part of the techniques that Joy teaches. Early socialization
of her puppies make them ideal pets as well as wonderful working dogs.
She helps our students give their own dogs the same benefits that she
gives her dogs. |
